This year is almost up and so is this new years resolution. It was asked this morning in church whether we had kept our new years resolutions from the previous year. At first I thought, "well of course I have!" but then I realized I technically hadn't (atleast when it came to posting every single day). And as I thought about it, my mind changed again. I felt like after a few months, being "thankful" for something every single day became a daily thought, prayer, or post. The habit of at least acknowledging something to be thankful for was there to stay. So overall I would say that this year was a success in terms of keeping a new years resolution.
Which then makes me wonder what should be my next venture? What does 2015 have in store for me? I only wish I could know, but as for now, I will continue to enjoy whats left of 2014, including these past few days.
I have been very blessed to have my parents come to Oklahoma this year to spend the holidays with me. My boyfriend also was able to come down for a few days. I am getting to spend time with some of the most important people in my life and I couldn't be more ecstatic. I have caught myself time after time these past few days smiling just because I was so happy to be with the people I love. This was exactly what I needed. Today, I am thankful for time well spent.
