December is proving to be the toughest month for me thus far when it comes to post.
Anything from work to christmas shopping to just getting my laundry done has become a daunting and exhausting task, but all to necessary.
I've also been encountering some personal life struggles, hindering my posting abilities.
There have been numerous things I have been thankful for these past few days since my last post such as Wednesday when I only had two patients the whole night and both were uneventful and kind when it came to their care. Thursday posed another story where I was thankful tissues. There immediate proximity was indeed needed and greatly appreciated. Then came Friday where my roommate graduated and myself along with what seemed to be her entire family and then some, celebrated with lunch.
But as for today, I am thankful for christmas cards.
For the last hour, I was addressing and sealing up christmas cards for family and friends alike. Hallmark provided me with some beautiful and festive cards and the USPS had Rudolph the Red Nosier Reindeer stamps this year that I just couldn't resist. I hope the cards I send bring as much joy to the receivers as I got just picking them out. I'm pretty sure the lady at the Hallmark store was convinced I was under the influence, but if only she knew how exciting I found stationary and stamps.
